Overview

aclock (“the App”) is a local reminder tool. We do not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All data is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to any server operated by us.

Data Collection

The App does not collect personally identifiable information (PII). Reminders you create (name, time, rules, optional notes, and sound preference) are saved only in local device storage and never leave your device unless you explicitly export or copy them.

Permissions Used

The App requests the following Android permissions solely to deliver reminders:

• Notifications — display local alerts when a reminder fires. Content is created by you and is not sent to third parties.
• WAKE_LOCK — keep the device responsive around alarm time.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — reschedule alarms after device restart.
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM — schedule precise alarms on supported Android versions.
• Foreground service (where enabled) — optional low-priority background service to improve reliability on some devices; shows a minimal “aclock” status notification without your reminder details.

Opening the Privacy Policy or Terms links in the App uses your browser or system web view and may require network access only for that page.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or third-party tracking services.

Data Deletion

You can delete all local data via Settings → Clear All Data in the App. Uninstalling the App removes all associated data from your device.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
